Deleting Your Goava Account
If you've decided to leave Goava, here's how to delete your account.
Before You Delete
Consider:
Downloading your data first
Cancelling any upcoming events you're hosting
Notifying connections you want to stay in touch with
Requesting refunds for purchased tickets
What Gets Deleted
Your profile and all information
Posts and moments
Events you created
Messages
Connections
Communities you lead (transferred or deleted)
What's Kept
Anonymized data for analytics
Content others shared (your name removed)
Transaction records (legal requirement)
How to Delete
Go to **Settings > Account**
Tap **Delete Account**
Enter your password
Select reason (optional)
Confirm deletion
Grace Period
30-day grace period before permanent deletion
Log back in to cancel deletion
After 30 days, deletion is irreversible

Before deleting, consider:
Deactivating temporarily
Privacy settings to limit visibility
Taking a break with quiet mode

You'll receive confirmation email
You can create a new account later
